It is a long established fact that a reade.
ICSL is proud to be a new autonomous international school carrying on the heritage of the International School of Larissa, which operated at the same site for ten years and which was the continuation of TASIS Hellas, since 1969.
The International Community School of Larissa was founded to continue providing a multicultural educational experience in central Greece. Ever better, always upgrading.
We are going on to our 16th year as providers of an International Education in central Greece. As of 2014 we are a CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, following the Cambridge curriculum, and also we are a testing center for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and A levels! We have been a testing center for the American College Board SAT and AP exams for many years now, and are proud to be accredited by the American Middle States Association.
Our mission at the ICSL is to shape lifelong achievers who can speak and think in multiple languages and who can apply their knowledge anywhere in the world.
We inspire our diverse international student body to pursue academic excellence,
And prepare our graduates to thrive at the world’s best universities.
We are committed to:
- Inspiring in the student a love of learning, self-confidence and pride in their cultural identity.
- Creating a collaborative, interactive, learning environment free of discrimination.
- Intergrading technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintaining a dedicated staff who focus upon and meet the needs of students as individuals.
The aim of ICSL is to provide the students with a positive, inclusive learning environment in which they have every opportunity to achieve their full potential.
The school believes in the education of the whole person as well as education for life. Our concern is for the student’s physical, moral, aesthetic, artistic, social emotional and academic development.
“My hope is that I can contribute to ICSL’s commitment to developing students of high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and strong moral character.”
